It was 1895 when New Zealander George Hudson first proposed what we today know as “Day Light Savings Time.” Back then, it was thought the extra day light hours would benefit farming and harvesting schedules. Today, however, we at Lampscape Designs appreciate a more aestitically pleasing outcome of the Fall-Back time change we will all experience come November 1st: the oppurtunity to come home to a beautifully lit home againts a darkening sky!
